The unknown is so scary, yet I had so much fun!

Saturday I went to Barcelona ALL BY MYSELF, that is right I did it!!! YAY!! It was not so bad really at all I loved my day I got to do what I wanted, when I wanted and how I wanted. I can take baby steps if I want or I can try to fit as much in as possible, It's up to me. I decided that I like baby steps. I mean after all I have 10 months to go back one day here maybe one day there. There are a lot of people there I mean if you want peace you are in the wrong place it's such a lively city, it is going to be so fun to stay for a whole weekend in Barcelona like stay the night cause I think that the night life is really happening. When you are Barcelona be prepared to walk. I walked, and I walked, and guess what I walked some more and even more. It's kind of crazy cause before I left to come to Spain and even once I got here people keep telling me about theft here and how you have to be careful. Well 1st of all I am always careful even back home and news flash you have to be careful every where even in the US. but where I was going with that I was going to say that I felt so safe in Barcelona I mean yes I don't know the language very well right now but in Barcelona there are so many people from all walks of life and I heard English and I talked to people who spoke English, I heard all different languages. By the way In Barcelona there are some handsome men, tall, dark, and fit too. Maybe there is hope for me yet,LOL! 

Oh yeah by the way all beaches in Spain are Nude just in case you come here to this wonderful place in the summer, like I said before you don't have to participant in any of that you can or you can't that is up to you. Me I would prefer not to take part in that. I think that there needs to be something left for the bedroom and I also think that not everyone in the whole world needs to see you the way you are, but that is just me thats all I am saying.

I tell you that because on the train ride to the city (center) I saw a lot of people at the beach lets just leave it at that. So I got to the train stop walking of course. I did not eat anything before I left the house. I got to the train and on the train I go. I am looking and I think this is not the right train so I few stops later I get off and think that I will just get on the next one. Boy was I surprised to find that there was not a real station it was more of a booth thing any way I thought well I need to find a real train station so I walk to the next little town and to the next train station. I get on the next train and head to the center (city). I get to Barcelona and I feel like I could not go much farther down the street remember I know this part of the center a little, with the help of my friends. I was looking for cheap food so where else does one go but to Mcdonalds, I also had to use the ladies room, I am not sure where to go to a ladies room here in Spain unless it is in a fast food place or a restaurant and with that I don't want the places to feel like I am not a paying customer. I had lunch there. Once I was done with that it was off to see what I could see. I sure saw a lot for someone who is taking baby steps. I did a lot of walking. I am so tired. I took pictures of everything. So now I have to get home some how, I wanted to take the train well I 1st got to the metro and that is not what I want but I am now on that and I go in the wrong direction from home. I get off the metro when I saw a picture of an R because that mean train R. I don't really understand it but no one asked me. So I walk around and I really don't want to look like an american tourists. I got news for me I already do. So I was trying not to ask the people who work for the metro and the train, but you know what I had to ask yes I asked in English I mean how else am I going to talk right now, my Spanish vocabulary is not great right now I only know a very limited amount right now. So I find out what I need to do how to get where I need to go. I felt so good once I was on the train going home. I got to my stop and off I went to walk home from the train station. I was so happy to be back where my room is.

Well on the train ride home I saw a graveyard/cemetery, I have always liked graveyards (Don't know why.) I think that to me a graveyard is so peaceful In high school my Best Friend and I would go to Mcdonalds take our food to have a picnic in a jewish cemetery, at that time we were a little mean cause we would sing the hanukkah song that Adam Sandler wrote. That is what you do when you are young for some I guess. I think that it is so interesting to see when someone lived. I mean I think that its sad that the person died and yet I also think that we all die at some point, well I hope to one day many many years form now. I dated a guy who shared that with me he liked going to graveyards/cemeteries and looking around we even went armed with a tape recorder (get your mind out of the gutter.) once but he has the film. He is the only guy I have even done that with and I think that going to graveyards is fun now I am not saying that I would go at night. On the ride home I saw one that I have to figure out how to get to. I want to take pictures. 

You know Spain kind of now KIND OF is the key reminds me of New York. I was there with this same guy who took me to the graveyards. It was so awesome. I wish I still had the photos I think that I left them with him. Oh well!
