So this week has really been different 1st of all I wake up between 6:45am -7:15am that feels so early to me right now today I did not have such a hard time to get up at that time but than again I got up at 7:15am so that was like sleeping in. So once I get up I go to the kitchen and get the boys snacks ready for school, along with getting breakfast ready for the boys. By 7:30am-7:45am it's time to get the boys up, I get to wake up the boys and get them ready for school so that means I get them up and dressed, I make their beds. I find that it is best for me to be right there in the same room with the little guys, just to make sure we get what need to get done well done. So I have found that once the boys are dressed we as in the three amigos all go eat breakfast. We have cereal on weekdays, however kids here in Spain sort of run the house so we also eat chocolate cookies and chocolate milk too. Some times I feel like these kids don't ever hear NO, all I can say is that I think that I miss kids in the US where sometimes they do hear no and don't talk in a whiny voice half the time I can't understand them, I mean it's bad enough I don't know much of the language to top it off I have to hear these kids whine or cry talking to me, you can forget me really being able to understand them. Any way so we have eaten our breakfast, time to bush teeth and comb hair. I have been able to make sure that we get in a little play time before they head off to school for the day. I try to get the dishes done before the family leaves for the day other wise I just do them as soon as they have gone for the day. After I get the dishes done I go back to sleep and just rest a little, by this time it is around 8:30am. I have been waking up for the day by 10:30am from there I make my own bed get ready to work out I brought along my exercises with me the P90X dvds, I have come to realize that right now if I want to exercise it's best to do on weekdays as I don't want to have to carry all the dvds around with me. I also really feel so much better when I do work out. Not that I am in any need of doing exercises here I get plenty of walking in. So once I have worked out I shower and make lunch by this time it's around 1:00pm a little before.
I am finding that I am so hungry, I feel like I am always starving, and I also feel like there is just not enough food to eat here. Although when the natives cook I feel like there is enough even some times I feel like it's more than enough and thank god I don't have to eat everything on my plate, people here are always telling me not to worry eat as much as you want/can. There is something that I really feel is missing from the food here and that is some spices I feel like most of the food here is very very very very well bland. We seem to use olive oil on everything. Omar took a cooking class and he does make food with a little more flavor but I still miss my mrs. Dash.
So The afternoons for me are very relaxing quite time from 1pm to 4pm we'll say. At 4pm I head to the bus stop for the boys and I walk of course with a stroller and armed with afternoon snacks and water. The boys and I walk home and that can take us a while we as in the boys like to stop and run around or pick the trees or whatever else little kid/boys do. Once we get home time to wash our hands with soap, play for a little while, before we do our homework will Alfons is really the only one who has homework. We get ready for bed after that and then we wait for Mama and Papa to come home from work which means we play. Right now I am not giving dinner to the boys the parents want to do that but maybe in time I will. I don't cook dinner for anyone really just myself. I cook for me lunch and dinner. Once the parents arrive home the boys want to be with them so I go to my room. I am off work from than on, I have been very sleepy the past couple of days I guess I just have to get use to this schedule it is still new to me. I have been trying to go to sleep early but I want to be able to talk to people back home still too and my friend Omar is on Skype as well around that time so I don't go to sleep until around 11:00pm or so. That is what my days have been looking like for the past few days. I better get going now I need to get ready to pick up the boys and all that fun stuff.
Here are photos of the town that I am living in, when I am walking this is what I see.
